At Delphins Ghana, our services focus on the holistic development of the child. Hence, our direct services to children and young people are tailored to enrich them with the right tools and positive attitudes to achieve.
We also offer some specialised provisions on empowering people to accept and be positive about children’s special education requirements, with the understanding that disability is not inability.
Our range of services also includes the provision of training for teachers, schools and parents for the holistic development of their children. We ensure teachers gain deep insights and awareness about the developmental needs of children, how to identify children with special needs in the classroom, and consequently, options for offering the appropriate support to address their needs.
We also develop educational policies for schools considering the safety, enjoyment and achievement, health, positive contributions and economic wellbeing of the child.
Delphins Ghana organises workshops and seminars for groups and churches, where people are educated on the pre-natal and post- natal causes of special needs in children. They are also taken through ways of positively managing these children.Parents and family are also supported and counselled on how to collaborate with teachers in the interest of the academic and social development of the child.
