Delphins Ghana comes with a team of professionals and education consultants with a wide range of expertise. Within the team you will find educationists, researchers and policy makers. Our mission is to support the development of the physical, mental, emotional and academic wellbeing of children and young people. We pride ourselves in our ability to transform the children we support, from perceived disability to ability, and further on, to become higher achievers.
Delphins Ghana also collaborate with international partners, consultants and volunteers who work within departments for children and young people, education, health and social wellbeing. These partners include UK-based, New Global Image, a non-governmental organisation registered in England and Wales, Jede Associates, The Archway Youth Project as well as Let’s Go Africa Foundation in the USA.
Delphins Ghana is founded by Delphina Naa Lomoley Lomotey, an inspirational and dedicated woman with a humane attitude towards the development of children. In addition to providing leadership through direction, Delphina is also an Education Consultant with expertise in Special Education. Within her repertoire, you will find expertise in General Teaching, Specialist Educator, Counselling, Specialist Trainer (Supporting Children with Special Education Needs), as well as Schools and Education Policy Development.
In Delphina’s profile, you will also find over 20 years of rich experience in teaching, home management, mentoring and counselling. Her main asset relates to her valued services for children with special education needs as well as those with a wide range of challenging and behavioural patterns. Delphina also has knowledge in modern management practices in the education of children. She has served as a coordinator for child-child health education in a number of basic schools in Ghana, as well as worked with the Dzorwulu Special School, a special school for children with special needs in Ghana.
Delphina holds MEd Educational Psychology, BEd Degree in Special Education and Home Economics, a Diploma in Special Education and home economics, and a Teacher’s Certificate” A”. Under Delphina’s leadership, the Delphins has a team that is united with purpose. Our collective strength lies in the fact that we all believe in the ability of children and young people, and therefore, dedicated towards enabling them to access every possible opportunity to reach the pinnacle of their potential.

For us, ”Disabilities” refers to children with “Special Education Needs”, and therefore, our interest in providing extra learning support is meant to enable them to realise their aspirations.
